It takes me about 3 minutes in the first episode until my first big mess up!
Annnnd, Episode 5, around the 2:50 point… one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen! *Whistles away*
Yes! i was just about to say that! The timing of his whistling when he goes to dig is so perfect. It’s almost as if it was planned. I lol’d heartily. You can’t make this stuff up man, only on VGA!
We did continue into the Nether for about 10 minutes max during this show, but then we realized that the internet had messed up and no one could see us!
When can the rest of us play with you guys? Do we have to start meowing?
Thanks for coming back to Minecraft, we’ve missed you.
I’d really like to see the gang participate in a build challenge, or even a mini build challenge on the show. I’m sure we can think up a few themes to get you started.
I like watching the mining and knowing that I’m not the only one freaking out when the baddies come after you or the lava starts flowing. I don’t like dying alone. :)
BTW Fraser, FantomenK is pronounced “Funtomen Kay” (Fantomen apparently being swedish for phantom). He posted a video on his YouTube channel, because there seems to be a lot of confusion about the pronounciation.
I love Minecraft Awesome, because I don’t have the patience or coordination to actually play it. Its great to watch people who fully enjoy it. Happy the Minecraft shows are back!
Hey VGA you should consider adding plugins to your server. They add gameplay, administrator functions, and are really cool! You should look into it before you start getting too attached to your current server because you might have to make a new world. You could have one of your mods test it out and see if it’s worthwhile. Here’s some information links:
My favorite mod is the Yogbox compilation. Sadly though, it’s single-player only. It doesn’t work on servers. I wish you could play it! You can make muskets in Yogbox!
Hey there. The server they’re playing on is actually the VGA community server which is supposed to be as vanilla as possible. The only game-changing addition are portals. This, strangely enough, makes it pretty unique compared to other servers out there.
That would be good too, but it would be hard to do for a live show I think. I think if they split it into four sections that it would be too small and confusing. Maybe they should set something up like, if Fraser dies they can just switch it over to another persons view point so they have another camera or something.
Also, going to be “that asshole”, I don’t really know why you have the chat active and on screen when recording the Minecraft Survival episodes. You guys are always super focused on the game itself, that advice/information in chat is missed or ignored. Stuff like the missed dungeon around 20 minutes into the second part.

I don’t agree with Fraser saying that the mining is the best part to watch. I’d really like to see you guys build more on the show.
KaitoKid said on May 22, 2012
The finding caves and stuff during mining is fun, but I agree that building would be nice to watch for a while too.
dumplingzowo said on May 22, 2012
having both would be great. but yea, i agree i’d much rather watch the builds myself. :d
Fond3ll said on May 22, 2012
Adventuring is fun but building is AWESOME. You can only do so much when mining.
OdinLH said on May 22, 2012
Finaly more Minecraft! I don’t care if Fraser thinks this is boring to watch. I don’t hink that it is.
zaziuma said on May 22, 2012
God, I hate how te chat doesn’t realize that Fraser can’t see the chat while playing, it’s not his fault!

It is cool because you can literally have a dance floor now because of the redstone lamps! Flashing floors are pretty MLG.

That’s good feedback, hearing that you guys want to watch a build too… I’ll be sure to mention that to the Fraser-san.

And then I slowly go crazy watching Fraser’s MLG strategies, like holding onto 20 Strength potions -.-;;
