TBH it looks like a less skilled Instagib clone from Unreal Tournament. Heck even Quake had a Railgun and tournaments exclusively using it.
Not to say it doesn’t look fun to play, just to say that it is not necessary a new or unique idea. Heavily skill based competitive games are what I live for!
It doesn’t look like tribes due to there being no momentum involved, which has really become a keystone to tribes gameplay. Well that and skiing. (momentum on the gun not the character)

It works like the DS and 3DS. They utilize 2 screens. Both can be entirely different, ranging from a minimap, an inventory, or a scope for a gun game, ANYTHING. The feature for the screen streaming the game that would otherwise be on the tv will most likely only be used for games that do not need the other screen, Wii (Not Wii U) games, and games made for it to do so.

The idea is (which they make very obvious in the promos) is if someone else wants to use the TV, you can switch to the controller and still keep playing.

Also, any other non-North Americans amazed that none of the gang know C.Ronaldo? I don’t really follow football, but still, he’s one of the best, and arguably, most famous players in the world right now.
It’s kinda like Tom Brady doing something for Madden. Or for you Canadians, imagine there was such a thing as a famous hockey player and that he did something for the NHL series. :3

I had a conversation with my friend about the Iron Man vs. Batman debate not so long ago, and we decided that if they started fighting out of the blue with no preparation or anything in one single fight, Iron Man would win. But if it was an ongoing war Batman would eventually become the victor.

Just a quick question. Did Fraser actually play MGS2? He keeps saying raidens a bitch/pussy and all that but never says why. It sounds like he’s just going off internet hate for him, which mostly went away after MGS4 where he becomes a badass. Also do you really think they’d show you killing a cat?

This was a great show guys! I know it was maybe a little more simple in terms of what was on the screen, but I know how much work goes into those kinds of shows. I’m always impressed with the standards that you hold yourselves to. Your shows are consistently above and beyond what anyone is doing out there. I’m so happy that I’ve finally become Turbo. I love this community, and .I can’t wait to see what you have in store for the future.

Yeah, I played every LEGO game; the characters don’t talk – they just grunt and mime for comedic effect. Batman 2 and Lord of the Rings seem to be the first ones with speech. Maybe it has something to do with the LEGO Star Wars short film, that was released on DVD a while ago. They talked in this one, too – maybe people liked that.

Well I highly doubt inFAMOUS 3. I’m saddened by that, but maybe not milking the series was a good thing. Plus, the last one was so perfect…It’d be extremely hard to do something else with powers or improve from what they had last.

It’s kind of funny how Fraser bashes the Halo fanboys for thinking that Microsoft is going to have a good E3 this year when he was literally the only person who thought that they had a better E3 than Sony two years ago. You remember, back when Fraser thought that Sony was terrible and couldn’t do anything right (i.e. back when Fraser didn’t have a PS3).

BTW, Fraser’s logic about how Microsoft is less likely to debut a new console than Sony is bizarre. Yes, XBox 360 is on top for now, but so was the PS2 back in the mid-2000s, and that didn’t stop Sony from releasing the PS3 in 2007. And while the PS3 has been gaining momentum for the past few years, XBox 360 is starting to lose it, at least in the eyes of gamers (who E3 is targeting). And it doesn’t help that the 360 is a full year older than the PS3 and (as Fraser himself said) inferior technology. All the Kinect and Netflix in the world isn’t going to keep time from progressing, at least if Microsoft still wants to be in the video gaming business. My guess is that the chances are about 50/50 that Microsoft will announce a new console this year and 100 percent that it will be announced by next year. In turn, chances of a Sony console debut are about nil this year and 50/50 by next year.

If you read this Fraser, I suggest playing the first Lords of Shadow asap. It has (IMO) one of the greatest Twist Endings of all time and with the sequel coming out, the chances of it being spoiled for you will increase.

The only slight issue I see with Shoot-Mania is if it’s mainly user-generated, they won’t have that many official maps by actual game designers. Having maps made by players is neat, but they should have a decent amount of official maps as well, not just 3. Also, apparently Nadeo says it’s gonna be unique by focusing on rocket-launcher style gameplay… now what other FPS game uses a rocket launcher? :P
