Deacon is a God amongst men. There couldn’t have been a better ending to this playthrough.

i watched the ending on youtube, and i have to say this “Deacon” ending was waaay better. One of the hardest laughs ive had with VGA. THIS is why i watch this show! I dont really play videogames anymore, but these kind of thing make it worth it!
P.S. Dont be so hard on him, we all know he’s “special”

I stopped watching this playthrough because I didn’t want the game spoiled for myself before I played it, but I have to watch this legendary Deac Deac mess up now!

Loved the ending, loved the episode, loved this whole playthrough. Maybe it’s just recency bias talking, but this might be my favorite playthrough VGA has done. Every episode is solid gold — Fraser trying to hold the group together while indulging his bragging and selfishness, Becky embracing her inner troll as the series goes on, Ben switching between being a hero and a hilarious jerk, and Deacon being … Deacon (aka the greatest troll). I saw only bits and pieces of this episode live while at work, but from what I saw, everyone was at the top of their game.

The funny thing is that this is oddly similar to Ben’s recurring nightmares of Deacon stumbling in drunk and destroying the set. And how Deacon reacted to his folly was so great. Maybe Ben has prophetic dreams?
