The girl from The Last Of Us just so happens to be the voice of Gretchen from Recess. She was also seen in live-action in What Women Want and more recently as a waitress in The Avengers.

I played Johann Sebastion Joust at GDC in March. As a variation on tag, it can be fun. You have to move with the music, so when the music’s slow you move slowly, when it’s fast, you can move quickly. It won the GDC Choice Award for Innovation.
While I applaud it for beating out nominations like Bastion, L.A. Noire, Portal 2, and Skylanders, I can’t call it a video game. It doesn’t have any video component whatsoever. Interesting use of the equipment provided, though.

Just a few thoughts:
- I love Tim Schafer.
- The whole ‘Vita is a 250 dollar controller’ argument only makes sense if you only use it as a controller and not as a handheld system. (Which by the way is its primary purpose.)
- I can’t find the exact words to express how I feel on the situation; but suffice to say I think people need to chill about Dante’s new look. Wait to play the game before passing judgement.
- Johann Sebastian Jaust? Not a video game. If you want to go outside and play just go do that. You don’t need a PS3 + however many controllers + a game to play outside. Fraser says “at least they are doing something different”. Well, different doesn’t mean good.
- Nostalgia is not enough for me to want to play a game. Emulating the ‘old school’ feel isn’t a guaranteed buy. Much like how I think a game that “looks really beautiful” doesn’t mean it’s a good game, the same applies to “looks like an NES (or whatever system) game.

There still some trailers you guys still need to see but thats for another time since this show and trailer is more for PAX.
The outcry for the DMC thing was that Dante was an older wise cracking guy and that what made him cool. When you make him some 20 year old punster it a more annoying character since people in those age range are’t aware of how to control their behavior, making them too random. However, over time this new character of Dante started to have some self control of his wise cracking, making fans a little more accepting of him.
I recommend checking out the Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, and Sly cooper series because they what made the PS2 brand shine. They’re all in HD now.
WiiU is cool and all but some of the games that are coming out for it are already out so it not that exciting. Don’t get me wrong, WiiU is going to be cool but when it gets it own games, not ones that are already out.

Anyway, good show. You mentioned the Worms series, any plans on playing one of them for a five-player episode? I can see that being very entertaining.

The Bath Salts thing was a rumor. The guy who bit the man’s face off wasn’t on Bath Salts at the time. The only drug in his system was marijuana.
His face-eating was probably the result of some kind of mental illness, not drugs.

obviously these guys have never heard of Sonic Drift(go-karts), Sonic R(footracing), and the Sonic Riders(hoverboarding) games, and at the least the first two Sonic Riders games were great
