That was by far the best ending to any show.

I was hoping you’d play the remake of the original Pokemon game Pokemon Fire Red rather than one of the new ones. It is much more simplistic, doesn’t have any of the hat buying or cafe stuff, has the original 151 and is what the original anime is based on. I think you would have ended the show with a better opinion of Pokemon. I was disappointed when you announced you’d be playing X/Y.

probably just as well if they did since they wouldn’t ever get a chance to use it.

Player is being very weird for me, suddenly randomly skipping 20 minutes every now and then, and reloading the whole video at every half hour mark…

I wasn’t originally planning on watching this episode, since I’m still waiting for my copy of X…but then I saw pictures of how the show ended on tumblr. Then I knew I had to see it.

I have to wonder what the gang was expect from Pokemon. It is what it is, a beginners RPG. And it a hell of a game. I wonder if Fraser was really taking issue with the mechanics or was he just making fun of it for the sake of pushing our buttons. I mean is it a problem that you need to take your time with the game. Let get real here, all games are mostly for everyone, young or old, and for the game asking you to take your time means you just need to take your time. That isn’t a bad thing.
Anyway I fell off of Pokemon when they release Black 2 and White 2 since I felt that was a little silly but with X and Y (Despite the names) makes a return to what was great about Pokemon and added really cool things. Thumbs up for what it is.
I don’t mean to sound negative to the gang. I did this enjoy this segment of them playing Pokemon and kinda learning what it is but sometimes they aren’t being fair to the game and just finding ways of making it look bad and not accepting it for what it is.

Based on the grinding aspect, the amount of time that it would take to catch all of the Pokemon, and the fact that Fraser just seemed to be going through the motions after a while, I can’t see them doing a longhaul of this. Glad to see that we got a first-look show, though.
I find it funny how often he skips past dialog and then gets mad that he doesn’t know what’s gong on.
I think if the dialog was voiced it would force him to listen to it and he would be less confuse with what to do. Again not a real problem with the game.
