KalevalaFraser
AKA Ben’s Mother. This one calls for a bit of info, as some may not know this painting. It is a painting depicting a scene from Kalevala, where a character named Lemminkäinen has died and his cut body has been throw in the river or the underworld. His mother has gathered the pieces and stitched them back up (without stitches!). The painting is called Lemminkäisen äiti (Lemminkäinen’s Mother) and is painted by Akseli Gallen-Kallela.
I’m pretty content with the shop, though I was unable to fully mimic the realistic nationalism that oozes from the painting. Then again, Fraser is an old hag and Ben is a beautiful bearded man. Who cares.
