3DS or Vita?

Yes…this is happening.

I am put in the position of picking a handheld console. Who put me in this position? Myself of course. I now turn to an online forum of cool people to help tell me what to do ;)

I like having fun when playing games, i know their is fun to be had with either system but does anyone have a personal experiences with both and trying to compare the sheer amount of ‘fun’ you have had?

What games gives each system a +1? I grew up on all of Nintendo’s franchises and enjoy them. I also love pokemon games….dear god i spent so many hours on sapphire when i was little. On the other hand im a sucker for good graphics and violence….and Netflix.

Which do you see getting a better future? I have been following E3 like pedo bear and am waiting to pounce wallet first at my TV. Will 3ds be getting cooler games? or will Vita just own the world?

Which is more serious?…..yes im asking this. Im not going to be sitting at this handheld forever. It will be used maybe 6 hours a day (In 2 hour increments)to just hop on, do some stuff, and get off. (That’s what he said).

Now i know Vita has better hardware specs but does better hardware mean more fun per se?

My situation in more detail is that i also hate waiting (A.d.d/O.c.d) If i choose the 3ds i can have it sooner as opposed to if i wait 2 months from now i can have a vita. Surely you all can relate to waiting right?

So there is my predicament. Reply and let me know your opinions. Even if you don’t think they seem valuable, don’t be scared, #5 wants input.

My ZX Spectrum is telling me no. But whether or not you trust the voice in my head I hear when I look at my Spectrum is up to you.

Personally I’d go for the 3DS. But I own neither.
I dunno, maybe I’m just programmed into thinking that Nintendo knows best with Handhelds.

3DS has far better games in my opinion and it does have netflix too if that bares any weight.

3DS so far. I’d be regretting this decision if more Vita games were like Gravity Rush.

Glad I went for the 3DS over the Vita with Super Mario 3D Land and Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, and some highly anticipated games like Luigi’s Mansion 2 and the new Paper Mario coming out later.

I got a lend of vita off my friend with FIFA and uncharted and it was great but I liked my 3DS better I have more games! If the vita had more games it’d be great but since Sony only announced one interesting game AC Liberation and no price drop. So it worrys me that Sony really care anymore….

Vita cost them ALOT of money and they have taken a hit in other areas as well. The device could be restructured by they ended up rushing the product out way before they should have. they are aiming for a price drop soon probably holday time, but their version of a price drop is often lackluster.
3ds is fun i enjoy it and it has a ton of support, but it will get better if more adult like games that are coming.

Hehe i already bought one :P im waiting for pokemon soulsilver to arrive in the mail ^_^. I also bought a grip for it because my hands seem to cramp up a little into 1 hour of play. I will also get mario kart because i want to race some of yall when i get good at it ;)
