Assassins Creed Return??

I don’t know if Fraser has already mentioned what the plan for Assassins Creed 2 is since I’ve missed a lot of shows this summer because of times zones but I was just wondering if they will EVER get back to the AC series. We all know Fraser got frustrated by AC1 and said they wouldn’t play it anymore and it’s been a while since that happened so I was wondering if we’ll ever see AC2 on the show! It would be a real shame if we didn’t since it’s an amazing game and million times better than the first! And those amazing costumes Becky made can’t all go to waste!

Fraser’s really hyped for AC3 (at least, he was during E3) so I doubt he’d quit AC altogether before the release. The chat reassured him AC2 fixed AC1′s many faults.

True but he’s gonna complain about the combat still it didn’t become easy like Arkham City until brotherhood when you could sting endless combos and never get hit.

They said at the during sleeping dogs post show they will get to it.  The way they made it sound like TF2, Pax Prime, September long hauls of zelda games in september, Halloween October, games coming out in november we might not see AC2 or Phoenix or the end ME2 dlc or ME3 till december or january.  They didn’t come out and say it exactly but they were not to say they be what will happen.  Getting us ready for that with schedule but that sucks.  You tease one thing and make use wait so long.  Been month already.

they said Wind Waker was next, but things change. I think they said Cave Story and Brutal Legend were gonna happen soon like half a year ago, so who knows?

I really hope that they go back. Ezio probably is one of the best characters in gaming, period, and there’s a bunch of other things in his games that I can totally picture the crew loving. That said, I’ve got a feeling that Fraser just won’t be able to get past his problems with the first game to be able to start the series again. Maybe we’ll get lucky and he’ll play AC3 when it comes out, it will be awesome, and he’ll want to play the other games.

If they don’t do Assassin’s Creed 2 before Assassin’s Creed 3 comes out they won’t ever play it I think…and I wouldn’t give a single fuck.

I disagree Two. They didn’t play Mass Effect 1 or 2 until after 3 came out. I don’t see why the same won’t apply for Assassin’s Creed.

@ibunwest That’s because they really wanted to play the Mass Effect series, and it’s fun to do a playthrough of all the games because you can carry over your save files. It’s not quite the same thing.

Don’t think they’ll put AC3 on hold to play AC2. ..but that’s just me. I could be very wrong.

I have been thinking about this for quite a while as someone who has played them all including the psp one last year.  While AC2 is leaps and bounds superior to the first game in terms of both character engagement and gameplay, I am not sure how Frasher will feel playing it.  His problem with the first game was largely due not only to it being repetitive but also core gameplay, ie. stealth and platforming.  I’m not entirely sure he will get sucked into ac2 on the show, and can you imagine the frage at certain timed parts or missions?  Anyway, I hope they go back to it, but I won’t be surprised if a few eps in we see another frage quit tbh.

No fret my friend. We will get back to the AC series. As far as I know, we’ll be picking up AC2 once we get back into regular shows… which COULD be in December or January.

I do hope they really like 2, because they almost certainly will LOOOOVE Brotherhood. Like, there is so much awesome in that game, I don’t dare spoil any of it.
