Ever since I joined the server I’ve been a hermit and I haven’t really accomplished much with that. So after the Olympic live show I’ve decided to become a hobo. Now a hobo is someone who wanders around looking for work and that is basically what I’m going to do. I’m tired of not being of much use to the server, so if anyone needs any help with anything from digging a huge pit, to delivering goods to someone or just help with construction feel free to just pm me or post something in this thread and I’ll head over to you and help you out.

P.S If you we’re wondering I work for free. I just want to be helpful to folks around the server.
July 30, 2012 at 6:22 am #45633I believe the term you’re thinking of is “migrant worker”, not “hobo”, as I don’t think hobos work.
But neat idea to approach the server, nonetheless.
July 30, 2012 at 1:11 pm #45671hobo’s do work actually, at least the traditional ones did. They did small odd jobs, usually for food, money or old clothes. Thinks like painting fences, mowing lawns, etc. What you’re thinking of is a bum who gets by by panhandling.
July 30, 2012 at 1:30 pm #45678I have temporary housing for new residents, but I can also use it for temp workers like you. Normally if I need outside help its for terraforming or farming. I’ll let you know if I ever need your services.
August 4, 2012 at 10:25 am #46393- Update time! Because the Olympic event has been postponed I’ve decided to grab everything I need now and leave my home behind. While this is a pretty sad event in my eyes (due to the large amount of work making it self-sufficient) I’ve decided to leave all of my resources behind in the many chests of my establishment as well as the fully functioning farms and the land itself. Who can have these wonderful goods you may ask? Anyone who takes the time out to go and travel to the co-ordinates x=-5800 z=+900. I also threw in a screenshot of the location so you know you’ve found it.

P.S Make sure you bring a boat because it is in the middle of the ocean.
