Though I think the show is pretty much the same as it’s always been, and love it to death, I can’t help but notice there have been a lot more people bringing up the issue of the quality of the show. I don’t mean to call anyone out, as it’s something I’ve noticed amongst Shadow Chat, Turbos, and even several times in the VGA forums. And to all of you I have to say,

The show will have it’s ups and downs. Be patient and don’t expect to have every episode or even every wave of episodes be your favorite. There may be times you feel VGA is in their prime and possibly others where you may feel maybe they are tired out. The important thing is to be patient if you feel they aren’t living up to your expectations, and at the same time supportive. Fraser, despite how he may act on the show, loves every single one of us cause we’re here to stick it out with him. He’s our Big Brother Frash-Frash. He appreciates us and if you feel somethings wrong then show that you appreciate him just as much, so that things can get better.

It’s good to speak your mind on how you feel, but remember sometimes a smile might get things going faster than just complaining about an issue YOU have. :)

i honestly think the shows been pretty good recently (tho i didnt watch the assassins creed epps which seem to be wat started all this (simply cos im not an assassins creed fan(o yea brackets within brackets within brackets = mind blown))) recently i did watch the ME2 DLC which was very fun as was harley quinns revenge and all the phoenix write stuff was great tho i have sadly now seen all of them

There is a thread open right now (which I assume is what lead you to open this) with the last post being made 2 hours ago discussing this exact point. Why not just post in there?

The hype of Sunday’s postponed show is why I threw this up. Your post, among several others, are just apart of what I was talking about. This is a topic that doesn’t address the quality of the show, but instead about how people who feel there are issues should maybe be patient before they accuse and at the same time supportive instead of condemning. At the top I made sure to mention I wasn’t calling anyone out, as I wasn’t. No single individual is responsible for making me feel the need to act.

I’ve gone through the same thing (of course on a smaller scale…lol) and though I know you don’t have to be a chef to taste when the food has gone bad, you still have to be appreciative of the work that the chef puts in, and that’s where I feel a lot of “critics” ( newcomers and veterans alike ) take a misstep. The work you put into your costumes, Fraser’s stress of getting things to work, Getting Deacon and Kyle on their free days to come on, Ben not snarfing 24/7 , are all examples of effort to make this show into something great. It’s genuine, sincere, and you just don’t get that in a lot of shows. Such should be taken into account before condemning the show for some “foul”.

And don’t get me wrong, if I thought (or ever think) the show is in trouble, I’d voice my opinion. But I’d be patient and wait to see if it’s the show or ME that has the issue before I ran my mouth off.

But now seriously, I agree with what has been said on this topic. Maybe not everyone can get it, but making a show like this is pretty hard and demanding, and lets not forget the heat that goes in the studio this time of the year. And of course everyone has bad days, even though I have been enjoying the last shows despite the comments that they have been getting.

Anyway, usually I might have said that this topic was unnecessary, but everyone needs to feel a little support once in a while, and this topic has come at the right time imo. So kudos thedourshepherd for stepping up!

I’ve always been a huge fan of the show! And yes I will admit that the shows moods changed since maybe the excitement of Heavy Rain or skyward sword but I think that’s because there’s no new games coming out so no midnight shows or super important long hauls! Like Arkham City or Uncharted! Right now they’re just pretty much catching up on games they’ve missed and that will be a dry spell because most of us have played them so we won’t be as excited! But this is just a rough patch in gaming in general no new games but soon the Wii U will come and loads of awesome new games for the gang to play!
