Being a fan of mostly indie games for 5+ years and being a part of the community, some of these developers have there head up there own asses. The best way to say it is that some of these developers are the typical ironic hipsters you would expect them to be. Hating on something just because it’s popular, to be a rebel for the sake of being a rebel, and not actually believing your own hype.
Really I think he’s trying so hard to be that guy that’s “to cool for the room guy” that people love to hate, and dont see through his fake BS. He tries so hard to be controversial and over the top just to get his name out there. It’s one thing to be controversial and actually believe in what you say but when your a douche about the whole thing and act like you’re better then everyone else, then you’re just being a dick, simple as that.
