August 15, 2012 at 1:22 am #47933Thax for the result!!!
August 15, 2012 at 1:23 am #47934I’ll be contesting I should have won gold for diving they weren’t aware that it was an homage/reference to The Simpsons
August 15, 2012 at 1:26 am #47937I don’t want to display any individual numbers, both to keep this thread lighthearted and because there’s a lot. As for the scoring system overall, it was like this:
Gold Medal: 5 points
Silver Medal: 2 points
Bronze Medal: 1 pointEXCEPT:
Where an event used a bracket system in which a nation could compete more than once, 2 points are awarded for every pass in the bracket.August 15, 2012 at 1:38 am #47939Don’t know where would be the best place to ask, but: who do I talk to about getting an MP3 of the Neo Japan anthem? And congrats to all the Olympians! Even though I was unable to attend as my Minecraft was still bonked, awesome to just watch the show!

August 15, 2012 at 7:57 am #47987Thanks for keeping track, mucho appreciado.
Cool dive deathbyblunderbuss. Agreed, the judging was a bit wonky since there were no guidelines, degree of difficulty etc. I was so nervous and blew my dive (and my inventory). I had to take a break there to calm down, but I am glad I came back to compete again.
Great job everyone!
Tragedy and triumph, fierce competition and shining moments of sportsmanship, randomness and hilarity…
All these, and the amazing amount of work from so many talented people made these Games truly great.
I sincerely look forward to the VGA Winter Games in 2014.
And Silent, for all that you did to make this happen, all I got to say is:
Wubadubadub is that true? Whoa! You go big guy!
