Getting the hermit team together for the Olympics

With all these team members I signed us up for soccer and rowing. I’ll only sign us up for synchronized swimming if people are inclined though, sincr that requires some sort of rehearsal.

right then. ive been working on an anthill design for the olympics building and so far we would be living underground with the anthill on top. and if you really want to be hermits then you should have a gate to a place further away just underground. (that last part will probably not happen).

as far as competing goes. i would like to at least participate in archery (im building the thing so it might be cheating a bit) and pretty much any other event i can get to.
synchronized swimming will be extremely hard even with little lag but i might be up for that if you could get enough people there.

Great work yesterday team!! We got that done super fast, and I really love the way it looks (Silent does too, so yay!). One change to the layout though, Silent would like the awards ceremony in the court because it’s bigger. I still want to keep that room as an awesome entrance, but I’m sorry I made you adjust the ceiling for that Racon. (I loove the floor ->> wall rings btw!) So! Next is our village building.

@Darknessdragon (Drago? Dark?) — That does look very anthill-ish, but is it within the building frame that Silent set out? All of the Olympic village buildings have to be within this dirt frame. If you haven’t seen it yet, head to the Olympics build, go straight out of our portal, and our plot is on the left side in the middle.
I also think that since our team color is brown, we should use mostly dirt. I kind of meant anthill more as a metaphor… Sorry about that!

This may be too chaotic, but my idea was that every member would take a stack of dirt and make their own room. That way we would still all be hermits, while remaining collected. And you could add paintings and such so that it wouldn’t be a complete hovel.

well it does fit within the stated area. (made sure of that). but indeed youre idea of just building ourselves a small home might work. mind you we would have to make it quite small and tall. a total of 3 floors would be needed for 10 members (4 on each floor). mind you we would have to pretty it up a good bit since it is still just dirt. im personally thinking a grass roof with a small garden at the top floor near the two last rooms. (i hope you catch my drift here (heh drift)).

well it just built what i think you had in mind. the rooms will be VERY small though unless we double the height of the building. currently we each have a 3x3x3 room. and we can fit 10 people in the building.
please let me know if you have suggestions of even a completely different view.

if you want there is a couple of saplings and bone meal in one of the chest at the basketball stadium, to add a more nature feel.

I’d say go for a basement rather than making it higher?

Erm, on second thought, do we need rooms for everyone? I think your original plan will get the point across.

We have 13 team members?! Ok does everyone have at least one sport they are assigned to? Also if you havent done yet please make a skin of the uniform we’re going to be wearing! We want everyone to look Hermity and it doesn’t look good if 12 of us are wearing Brown and the other one is wearing their normal skin.

Ok I need 1 more Person to Compete with me in the Basketball Tournament. I would Preferrably like one of the new people that has joined who doesnt have a sport yet but If you PM me saying you want to play and you have a sport I wont say no… In the event that more than 3 people want to play I may just have a try out and the best 3 play with me. I’d like to figure this out soon so I can start holding Practices so we can work on stuff and get ready. So PLEASE PM me soon if you’re interested in playing. Thanks!

My second post is that at this point we will not be accepting new members. There are a few other teams out there who might be open to new members, so I’m sorry to any new applicants who wanted to be a hermit. Thank you.

Those of you that don’t have events please fill at least one of them! Don’t wait for us to have to assign you to an event because I can guarantee you that if we have to assign you to an event it more than likely will be something you don’t want to compete in or we might just not give you an event altogether..
