I recently received an Xbox 360 along with a kinect, and while I don’t hate the system, I haven’t really paid any attention to the 360 since like 4 years ago or something. So… what exactly should I do now? I don’t have enough friends to justify paying for xbox live, and every console game that I’m interested in has a ps3 version.
August 13, 2012 at 6:46 pm #47670I’m incredibly biased when I say this but… Halo? I know it’s not much but it’s still a bunch of fun, especially splitscreen with a bunch of friends. Further I can’t think of anything because like you said, most games have PS3 versions. There might be some cool Kinect games or something.
August 13, 2012 at 6:57 pm #47672If there are no Xbox exclusive things you are interested in you could sell it or give it to someone else. There’s also taking a hammer/gun/flamethrower/vehicle/C4/bare fists to it.
August 13, 2012 at 7:23 pm #47678It’s really convince on where your friends on are. As an avid Xbox-er my buddies all have xboxs but, I do have a PS3 as well but, never touch it so. The only thing worth it off the Xbox for you I guess would be the kinect. If you wanna exercise or play just movey games I dunno.
And if you’re a CoD Fag like me you get all the DLC early. But, it’s not much a perk.
Just remember Xbox LIVE Silver is free. So you can try it out. Gold is just everything else.
August 13, 2012 at 7:36 pm #47682Deadly premonition is basically twin peaks the video games just with god awful controls, acting, and graphics but its so bad its good.
August 13, 2012 at 7:49 pm #47684Castle Crashers is a good game to play with friends.
August 13, 2012 at 8:52 pm #47695Viva Pinata is the only game I’ve wanted to play on the 360. That and Deadly Premonition.
August 13, 2012 at 9:43 pm #47704if your into RPGs I suggest Tales of Vesparia great story gameplay and memorable characters
August 13, 2012 at 10:40 pm #47708Get some non shitty kinect games (pretty much Dance Central)
August 13, 2012 at 11:42 pm #47716Lost Odyssey
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_Odyssey
One of the best (If not THE best) RPG of this generation and 360 exclusive.
From the top of my head that’s pretty much the only good game I know that’s not also on PS3 or PC
August 13, 2012 at 11:54 pm #47718Shadow Complex if you like Metroidvania games (purchase from Arcade) .
August 14, 2012 at 1:37 am #47726Alan Wake, Dead Risings, Fable 2, Halos, Gears of Wars, Tales of Vesperia
Only notable 360 games I can find.
August 14, 2012 at 8:07 am #47774I played Trials Evolution at my friends house and it was really fun! I’d recommend it.
August 14, 2012 at 8:25 am #47783Gears Trilogy is pretty good.
You could download Super Met Boy if you don’t have it on PC.
Halo 3 and Reach are pretty good, so you could get those.
Mass Effect trilogy if you don’t have it on PC.
Gunslinger is a pretty good Kinect game.
As someone said above, Shadow Complex is a great game if you love Metroid style games.August 14, 2012 at 3:08 pm #47858yeah, i know for me, xbla is really the highlight of the 360 for me
be sure to try out stuff like the trials games, shadow complex and geometry wars
there are also some nice exclusive ports on xbla if you missed out on some titles like ikaruga and perfect dark
as far as retail exclusives go… there’s not too many i’m too big on. i had fun with banjo kazooie nuts and bolts, despite not enjoying the original titles at all. it’s a really creative and fun game, despite what a lot of people say (not without some flaws, though)
