**STEAM GROUP NOW AVAILABLE! MESSAGE ME AND CONFIRM YOU’RE PART OF THE
GROUP AND I’LL LET YA’ IN!Hey guys! Even though there aren’t any chat features in Kid Icarus: Uprisings’ online multiplayer, don’t you just wish you could smack talk and insult the looser’s Grandama? Well, NOW you can!
(That is a joke, I’m not responsible for any actions in speak towards you or your grandmother)
Now unfortunately, Kid Icarus: Uprising doesn’t not feature any “community-esque” features like Mario Kart 7 had.
But, here is what I’ve been thinking.
-Meet people here and battle them online with friend codes (Private message is recommended)
-Arrange times and online meet ups trough inviting players (Easily can be done by saying “Me!” in the twitch chat
-Create Tournaments!Of course this would be a little difficult to stream but we can still just play and have fun! We could all make teams of 3 and we can use skype for all or private team speak to make strategies (Whom stays back and snipes with a Staff and who goes berserk, etc.)
If we ever get this down pat we can make this just as fancy as the TURBO TF2 Tournaments!
Before we do this though, we need to become a good size. So if you would like to play Kid Icarus: Uprising with others in the community start talking down below, and say your friend codes publicly with a private response or completely private. Just keep in mind this will mainly be used to arrange matches among members of the community.
Have fun and try not to get shot too much!

April 2, 2012 at 4:57 pm #22496Thats a great idea, I was surprised by how well the online worked, the best I’ve ever seen from a nintendo. I was wondering how someone could set up a community for it.

April 2, 2012 at 6:19 pm #22516Oh god, Brawls online was bad. But most online play with the wii was bad so it may be a system thing. MK7 works and any other game I’ve tried on the 3DS works pretty well. A few hiccups here and there but nothing major.
April 4, 2012 at 7:00 pm #22819This is an excellent idea,I must say. Having played Kid Icarus for many hours,I absolutely love the game and its multiplayer. I would greatly enjoy playing (and possibly be completely destroyed) with the community. ^_^
PS:Do you post the friend codes here or send it in a PM? Don’t understand very well what you mean with the Private responses thing. Sorry for the inconvinience. ‘~’
April 4, 2012 at 7:32 pm #22823I would be in, but I still don’t have a direct access to Wi-Fi for a couple more months. I’ll definatly join up once I do.

Do what you prefer. You can post your friend code publicly so anyone can see it and send theirs privately to you, or you can just send friend codes privately all together. Sorry, for not being clearer.
April 7, 2012 at 6:10 pm #23221This sounds fun! Maybe if Becky likes the game we can get her to join too.

i will beat-choo! 4081-5716-4305, and hey hawk, should i add the people who post their friendcodes publicly? It is up to you how much info you want to put out. If you want respond to others with your code openly, by all means do so. But I’d imagine most would want their codes given privately as a response to yours. Basically speaking, putting your code out freely is basically just an advertisement for friends to join you and others can respond to you privately or on here publicly. For the most part it is you’r guys’ decision not mine.
April 8, 2012 at 3:45 pm #23326Sorry for the double quote there.
Also, *your guys’
just thought I’d fix that.
