Hello and welcome to the 28th Mod Report in a row! We have somehow managed to continually put these out, week after week, and not kill you all in the process!
Build Challenge
We are beginning the building section of the Sky Build, so those of you whose builds have been approved will be able to get your building started very soon. Don’t die too many times! (Like me!)
Arguments
We understand that arguments happen sometimes. That’s kind of inevitable. However, we can’t have you killing each other over them in the server. If you get to the point where the only thing you can do is start killing the other person, try taking a break. Either that, or we will deal with it our way.
Bukkit Patch
We are planning some small downtime to apply a patch, provided by none other than our wonderful Euske (The mind behind the server maps you all use). This patch hopefully fixes the teleportation issues some of you have been having with portals, as well as issues we have when we warp to you.
New Maps!
It’s that time again for Team Fortress 2! We are not only having new maps this time, we are also having our first re-vote on a map. First, the new maps this week are actually the winners from this contest, so they’ll hopefully be to your taste. If you’re too lazy to click the link, the new maps are: pl_volcanic, plr_frostfell, and pl_moonlit, and we are having a re-vote on pl_cashworks, as some of you have experienced problems with the map.
Quote/Video of the Week
We’ve only got one quote this week, sorry. I’ll try and make up for it with videos or something.
Casual decided to wax philosophical on Philosophy Fortress 2: “when you realize that you do not see reality, but just the flickers of shadows on the cave wall, then you must spy check”
So, like I said, I’ll try and make up for the lack of quotes this week in videos. We have three videos this week, first, something that I’m really looking forward to seeing/hearing, then we have a video that pops up a lot on Nash’s stream, for those of you who watch it, and finally, a nostalgia trip for those of you who even want to remember it.
