The Enforcer is just broken. I don’t hate straight upgrade weapons, like the Equilizer and Solemn Oath, but Enforcer goes too far. If you have a Dead Ringer, it has no downside, so it’s just an absurdly-powerful gun used by Spies who can’t do their intended job. Besides, who uses the Enforcer with the Cloak and Dagger? It’s negative points are null when it’s only useful with one other item.

To be honest, I don’t think any weapon is really OP. whether damage or special something the weapon does to you, I think that the weapon is deadly in the right hands. Repus+Sticky launcher=Deadly. Neko+Mantreads=Deadly, so on so forth. But it doesn’t really care what I think because everyone hates me so.. T_T

I have to say that before when I played engineer mainly and used the pomson, I didn’t feel it was annoying. Even a engie primarily concerned with his sentry will take a second or two to fire his shots at the enemy if no threats are visible to his sentry, at least in my opinion, though I can be completely wrong since I’m basing it off my experiences. If I have a set up all made, and I see the enemies while they haven’t noticed my sentry, I’ll shoot a few before working more on my set up. To an engineer, the weapon doesn’t seem to be that bad, and it’s an okay trade off with exchanging more damage from a distance for less damage close range. And I admit it made my playstyle more spammy, for if no one was around I’d shoot it where enemies might eventually come through since the projectiles are so slow.

However, now that I play medic regularly, I would really like for it to be tweaked. The thing is, the regular Medi Gun takes over 40 seconds to be fully ubered if you’re healing non-fully-overhealed, and each shot delays my uber by 4 seconds. Now, 4 seconds may not seem like a lot of time, but when I’m in the thick of things with a full uber and my safety net is suddenly gone when I’m at red health, I feel particularly miffed, if only because it’s so hard to focus your attention on it while there are so many other things you have to keep track of. You have to look at your health to make sure you aren’t too close to dying, the ubercharge meter to know when you’re full if you aren’t already, your heal targets’ health to make sure they don’t die before you uber, the enemy numbers to make sure you don’t waste the uber, the various kinds of spams that comes like rockets or grenades, the floor for stickies, your back for spies, and you gotta strafe and jump like a madman to avoid simply getting body-shotted by snipers, I feel miffed when the only reason I didn’t survive was because of a measly beam that goes through my meatshields and makes me not have uber just long enough for a rocket to land in my face. One tweak I’d definitely want is for the projectiles to be a little more noticeable. As they are right now, it’s really hard to see them and almost every time when I get hit is amongst chaos with death at every corner. It would help if they were a lot more distinct, and looked a little more different from the bison shots. I also love Neko’s suggestion. I also feel Arudon’s fix to the enforcer is a good one.

After reading all the pages, I’ve decided I don’t hate the pomson or enforcer because it’s OP, I greatly dislike it because it’s annoying, frustratingly so. The enforcer can pull off cheap kills that no other revolver can in the same situation or scenario as easily, where you don’t need skill at just the right place like the Ambassador, you just need to shoot. The pomson is the same way, though more indirect because each hit on the medic required no skill yet can ultimately cause the whole push to die because there was no uber. I guess that’s what ultimately makes me dislike them. When I get headshotted by a sniper or backstabbed by a spy, I’ll feel as if it was my fault for not being aware enough and it took skill for that player to pull it off. When I’m dead because of the Enforcer or Pomson, I feel miffed at the fact that had the person used any other weapon, the result probably wouldn’t have been the same or at least ended so soon. Sorry if I sound like I’m whining, but these are my honest opinions about these weapons. They ultimately make the game less enjoyable for me, the Pomson when I’m playing medic and the Enforcer when I feel like I could have survived had it not been doing that kind of damage.

Yes Neko! Everytime I see you (which I can because you have a geniaders cap with steam effect on) I fear of you landing on me or market gardening me! T_T
