Thanks Codemite. ;D
@PMV The Anthology 2
I forgot to mention this during my stream, but that panel had to have been the busiest and the loudest out of all of them. I was helping out Garret’s booth at the time and barely anyone was showing up until it ended.
Almost an hour and a half, no wonder it was a two hour panel. O_O

Whenever you have nothing to do, or you just want to relax for a bit, watch an episode. I’d suggest going through them in order.
July 9, 2012 at 11:18 pm #41832The first two episodes aren’t as good as they’re kind of preachy or whatever. Not exactly the word I’m looking for, but you can tell later the writers are given more freedom or something.
July 10, 2012 at 9:08 am #41886The First 2 episodes were kinda more of a pilot episode I feel. Just to sort of pitch the idea and set up the initial story. I would watch a few more, see if you get into it. If you dont then its just not for you. Whatever you do don’t pretend to like a fandom just to get into the community, it will only end badly.
July 10, 2012 at 9:17 am #41887I find it a bit interesting that you guys are saying what you are about the first 2 episodes. I’ve always felt that the two-part episodes were some of the best, including those initial ones.

the first 2 episode’s purpose is to setup the overall scope and universe of the show, it introduces all the characters, gives them there quirks, and shows how they react and act in multiple situations while setting up the theme of the show which is twilight learning about friendship. as the show goes on later it gains much more of a sitcom-esc feel to it with each episode focusing on 1 or so characters in a self contained situation.

July 11, 2012 at 12:14 pm #42111You know just because you are a fan doesn’t mean you have to call yourself a brony. You can just be a fan. :b Glad you like the show though.

I think John De Lancie pretty much sums up what a brony is in this interview.
July 11, 2012 at 5:31 pm #42181I think I’ve said this before but if not here it is. I like the show, I’d even say it’s probably one of my top 5 shows (I don’t watch alot of TV that isn’t sports). But I don’t consider myself a brony. I don’t go to Equestria Daily or have any interest in Bronycon, or pony music remixes and certainly not fanfiction. I like fanart; but I don’t go out of my way looking for it, only if an artist I like happens to draw it.
But I think most of all is that I don’t let it define me. Not that all bronies do but, I think there is a good portion that identify themselves primarily as MLP fans, and love talking about the show, or anything relating to the show as much as possible. Myself, if it comes up I might talk about it; but I don’t really have much to say. I have a favorite character, and favorite episodes, even a favorite song; but I can say the same (except maybe the song part) for any show I like.
