    -Rules-

These are the Rules of the Boonton Community. Please obey them at all times. The rules are a little strict due to the age of many builds dating back to November 2011 that were incorporated, and grandfathered, into the Community in November 2012. There is plenty of space in Boonton to build and we are an inclusive Community, but we will ask you to leave if break any of our rules. We want you to be creative without fear and want you to leave a piece of your legacy in Boonton to be enjoyed by everyone. Our borders with all neighboring communities and proximity with Spawn City can cause confusion especially if you are looking to be a hermit, so please contact ImpossibleManX if you have any questions regarding the rules or locations.

1 – Obey the rules of the Mods

2 – Obey the rules of the owners of grandfathered builds in ”’Ward A: Sunrise Heights”’, ”’Ward B: Riverfront”’ and ”’Ward C: The Boondocks”’. They were here first before Community incorporation and they do not like people mining and building in their private property. ”’Contact ImpossibleManX if you have any questions.”’

3 – All ”’NEW”’ builds post-2012 Community incorporation must be 100% complete. Incomplete builds will be torn down based on your status on the AWESOME Server.

4 – ”’NO BUILDS ALLOWED”’ in ”’Ward A: Sunrise Heights”’ and ”’Ward C: The Boondock”’s. Those areas are all Private Properties and Private Mines dating back to November 2011 before the incorporation of Boonton Community and are all Grandfathered in with Mods Rules.

5 – ”’BUILDS ARE ALLOWED”’ in ”’Ward B: Riverfront”’, ”’Ward D: Emerald Forest”’, ”’Ward E: Hillside”’, and ”’Ward F: Ender Hills”’. Please Contact ImpossibleManX if you are unsure where to build at.

6 – Post AND Sign your name on all Builds and Boundaries of your Area

7 – Obey all signs posted

8 – Fix Creeper Holes and Creeper Damage!

9 – Be careful not to mine into other peoples’ private mines.

10 – Builds must be Buildings of any form, ”’be original”’ with your builds, private farms are allowed of course.

11 – Pixel Art is welcomed, but due to space please obey the following rules:
**”’Rule 11-A”’: Do not place Pixel Art at a random location, All Pixel Art must be placed either in your personal property (Example: Your Backyard) or on top of your builds.
**”’Rule 11-B”’: Pixel Art in private homes can be anything you wish, BUT Pixel Art on builds for Public Display must be original, no License Properties or VGA.
**”’Rule 11-C”’: Pixel Art CANNOT be as tall as a skyscraper. We do not want the Art to overshadow all other builds.

12 – No Eyesore Builds like random pillars and giant reproductive organs. We want Boonton to look as clean and family friendly as possible. Grandfathered builds are exempt.

13 – No More Parks of any type, Pyramids, Forts, Spires and Lighthouses. Those are already built and Boonton needs different types of structures. ”’Be Original.”’

14 – Rules are subject to adapt and change.

Hey everybody. I just want to give a heads up. I am thinking about creating a rail network throughout the Boondocks which would most likely include a transportation center. If I do so, I may build the center on Hillside Park where there will be have plenty of directions to send the railroad tracks.

I would like to also ask you all to please be careful when traveling through the Boondocks at night. I am finding Creeper holes as deep as 7 blocks and they are tearing up the roads and damaged a little bit of Hillside Park, Serenity Point Park, and the Unknown Build Historic Site.

Finally, I posted up signs on the notification board in Spawn City about open land in The Boondocks, sorry I didn’t put up the co-ordinates, but it is easy to get there by foot by taking Memorial Boulevard near Fraser Cathedral and you’ll walk right into the entrance. Also you can get there by taking Southern Boulevard Bridge in Stickyport and you will see the open land I am talking about along with Hillside Park and Serenity Point Park.

If you have questions I’ll be happy to answer them.

    #37552

Okay. So I have decided that I will build the railroad network in The Boondocks, but it’s going to be a slow build. I have yet to learn how to use redstone or even build a track. So I will be practicing at my Summer Island first, then when I am good to go, I will first build the Memorial Line which will run from Deacon’s Temple in Spawn City to Emerald Road near Estate Island. Again this a slow build, and I would like to take my time.

I didn’t think about this before but for those who are interested in looking for open land to make builds, you will find The Boondocks/Spawn City border at these co-ordinates x123, z630.

    Be careful at night.

    Hello Minecrafters!

The Directory received a little update. Emerald Road has now been upgraded to Boulevard Status. The newly upgraded Emerald Boulevard will probably include a new bridge that will flyover the Crescent Coast connecting with the bridge that Southern Boulevard leads into in the Uncharted Areas. Building the Crescent Coast Bridge should create one continuous connection of Boulevards from Stickyport and the Uncharted Areas with Spawn City on Memorial Boulevard.

    Hello Minecrafters! :)

A few months ago I made an old post regarding The Boondocks and its history. In that post I mentioned the Ft. Impossible Nether Fortress. So now I have an update regarding it. For starters, I have created a new Nether Portal at the Hillside Park Transportation Center Site. it takes indirectly inside the Ft Impossible Nether Fortress without traveling through through the Nether itself. So the old Nether Portal inside Ft. Impossible is still usable for exploration but you don’t need to use it anymore to get to the Ft. Impossible Nether Fortress.

Now regarding the Fortress itself, it is open for Public use and anybody can use it. However there are rules to follow or you will kicked out.

    1) No claiming areas INSIDE the Ft Impossible Nether Fortress as your private property. Sorry that will not happen here, everybody is welcomed to take what they need and should not fear being called thieves or griefers when they do so. If anybody puts up a sign INSIDE the Fortress that says “Private Area KEEP OUT” however you phrase this, you will be asked to take it down or that sign will be taken down. You are of course allowed to build a private cobblestone house OUTSIDE the Fortress as per Minecraft rules and make an entry way for your safety to the inside but you CANNOT claim any area INSIDE the Fortress.

    2) No destroying the Spawners. Period. I don’t care if there are extras, don’t destroy them.

    3) Replant the Nether Warts that are INSIDE the Fortress. If you want to expand the Nether Wart Patches to make a Public Nether Wart Farm for everybody, go for it. It’s welcomed, but replant those Nether Warts beside those stairs.

    4) If you build a Nether Portal INSIDE the Fortress, put a sign on it saying where it leads to AND if it is for PRIVATE use or PUBLIC use.

    5) DO NOT DESTROY the Giant cobblestone ‘I’ markers placed Outside the Fortress. They stand out for travelers who are lost in the Nether and know they have a place of safety to run too.

    6) DO NOT DESTROY the signs. Not only are they carrying the rules of the Fortress but also directions to the Northern and Southern Areas of the Fortress, and the exits, so no one can get lost inside the maze like Fortress.

    7) Ft. Impossible Nether Fortress Rules may be added over time and unexpectedly.

If you have any questions regarding the Ft Impossible Nether Fortress, don’t hesitate to ask.

    Hello Minecrafters!

I’m here with an update to my newly christened project: Hillside Transportation Authority, or HTA.

The goal here is get a stable completed railroad Network throughout the Boondocks and to other communities. Yeah it’s nothing new on MC, but since there is no portal, or any need for one given the proximity of all the neighboring communities surrounding the Boondocks, a rail system is at least needed for accommodations.

The railroad system officially called Hillside Transit, features a beautifully made transportation hub inside Hillside Park. Within the Center are 4 separate rail lines platforms and a Nether Portal to the inside of Ft. Impossible Nether Fortress, without ever stepping outside into the Nether itself.

Each rail line will feature a Stop-Go Station Point Platforms, or SGS Point, throughout each route, allowing travelers to disembark and explore the Boondocks and neighboring communities, or hit the button to continue on to your next destination without ever getting out of your minecart.

Hillside Park Transportation Center is built to add a second floor for other rail lines outside The Boondocks to converge at and connect with Hillside Transit.

The Hillside Transportation Authority Office is located inside The Impossible Man’s Office Building in Spawn City at Spawn Point, co-ordinates x=+257, y=+64, z=+237

Volunteers and donation of tracks are welcomed. Credit for participation will be awarded. Please contact The Impossible Man for any questions or inquiries regrading Hillside Transit or Hillside Transit Authority.

    Hillside Transit Routes Under Construction

Currently the Boulevard Line, the longest of the 4 rail lines is currently under construction and has four completed and fully functioning SGS Points ready to use at this very moment. The tracks will continue onward toward Hillside Park Transportation Center and once open the Boulevard Line will serve a walking distance to the nearby Communities of Spawn City, Stickyport, Cloudtop, The Empyream, Arkham City, and Smalltown USA.

    Hello Minecrafters!

Before I begin, I would like to thank KRSD and RamrodWilly for donating Rail Tracks for the Hillside Transit Build. Without their help and contribution, this little project would have come short. Though given how long the Boulevard Line is, I hope it is enough.

And another thanks to KRSD for adding The Boondocks in the Minecraft AWESOME Wiki. It is very informative and very helpful for any of you who want to travel and explore Minecraft AWESOME. Please check it out.

So as of now, The Boulevard Line has now been extended to Sunrise Skyway.

3 New SGS Points are built and fully operational:

    Tunnel Boulevard in Spawn City

    River Road in The Boondocks

    Sunrise Skyway in The Boondocks

What this means now, is that travelers who want to take the scenic route, rather than a Portal, to the Communities of Cloudtop and The Emyrean can do so can now on Hillside Transit. Just grab a Minecart and hop on board one of the SGS Points and enjoy the ride.

    In other NEWS:

The Boulevard Line cannot be extended to Fraser Station, the giant Skyrail to Clifftown, due to the builds between Spawn City Center Station and Fraser Station. There is no way to navigate the rails without encroaching or damaging other people’s Builds.

Therefore, I built a permanent Canopy over the Spawn City Center Station near Fraser Cathedral and Deacon Temple, right off Memorial Boulevard. So now it is small scale version of Hillside Park Transportation Center with little touches to reflect the builds nearby.

    Next phase of Hillside transit:

1 – Leveling down Memorial Boulevard between Sunrise Skyway and Hummingbird Road to reduce waste of Rails climbing over the nearby hill.

2 – Modify Hummingbird Road SGS Point to Hillside Transit Standards. With this SGS Point completed, travelers will have walking access to the Communities of Arkham City and Smalltown USA. It will be here that the expansion will be shifted over to the Hillside Area of The Boondocks which leads to…

3 – Build Lakeview Road and Serenity Point Park SGS Points and expand the rail over Crescent Coast Bridge to Crescent Coast Road SGS Point.

After these will come the difficult part of the build. Running Hillside Transit over Estate Island and through the Emerald Forest. Emerald Road really runs a fine line along the sensitive Historic Teron Estate, the natural generated terrains of Estate Island and Emerald Crater, the twisted intersection with Mockingbird Road and the elevation of the Forest.

That’s all the NEWS for now.

Thank you for riding Hillside Transit.

    Greetings Minecrafters! :)

    Some more announcements.

    First:

Hillside Transit is now extended to Hummingbird Road. This means that all of you can travel from Spawn City to walking distance of The Empyrean ( I will talk about this in a moment). So now at this stage, Hillside Transit now accommodates travelers going in and out of the communities of Cloudtop via Sunrise Skyway, The Empyrean via Hummingbird Road, and is a walking distance to Sandway Bridge via Windy Road. So grab your Minecarts and ride away.

    Second:

I diverted all track resources to the Hillside Section of The Boondocks. As of now Lakeview Road and Serenity Point Park SGS Points are fully operational. However, the remaining tracks I possess could not get Hillside Transit over the Crescent Coast Bridge to the Crescent Coast Road SGS Point. I might try to use the leftover tracks to get to Estate Island SGS Point, but even that looks too far to reach. This now results in a large gap on the Boulevard Line along Emerald Boulevard, between Hummingbird Road and Serenity Point Park.

    In other news:

I recently learned that Arkham City as a Community has now been incorporated into The Empyrean Community. This resulted in the opportunity to expand Hummingbird Road into The Empyrean linking the community with The Boondocks via road. I would like to announce that the connection is now completed and travelers who ride Hillside Transit can access The Empyrean directly without traveling through Cloudtop itself.

Hummingbird Road inside The Empyrean ends halfway between the Arkham City Tower and The Empyrean Community farm. Progress cam to a halt because Soghog is also building a Road/Fortlike Barrier to surround the tower with. So parts of the road inside The Empyrean may not be permanent and will change to The Empyrean needs. So don’t be surprised if it is taking down permanently.

Because Hummingbird Road shifted left to get to The Empyrean, this left the Old Hummingbird Road going right when traveling. This resulted in renaming if Estate Road, because it will run alongside the far of Estate River and it will end at the edge of the Estate River. Travelers will be within a walking distance to Smalltown USA. If built right you all should see the dirt spire on Estate Road marking the location of Smalltown USA. It’s status as a community is unknown at this time and would recommend seeking out Masses Fallacy for more information regarding Smalltown USA. Estate Road will be expanded later this week.

    Next plans:

One the Directory will be updated to reflect the new changes in The Boondocks and will be expanded and consolidated to include Info on Hillside Transit and Ft. Impossible Nether Fortress.

The continuation of expanding Estate Road to the end of Estate River within walking distance of Smalltown USA.

Upgrading Estate Cove Twin Bridges to accommodate Hillside Transit’s Estate Island SGS point.

    On a Final Note:

If any of you are interested in contributing to Hillside Transit’s Boulevard Line, please contact me here or on MCA, and help bridge the gap along Emerald Boulevard to make a complete and fully functional rail line for Spawn City and neighboring communities.

    Hello Minecrafters!

    I’m here with another update.

1 – Hillside Transit has now been extended to Estate Island. Estate Island SGS Point is fully operational. Now you have a chance to visit one The Boondocks Tourist locations.

2 – Estate Road is now complete and traversable. All travelers can now reach the Community of Smalltown USA with the boundary between The Boondocks and Smalltown USA set. I recommend checking it out.

3 – New Welcome signs are placed along the tail end of Estate River across from The Empyrean.

4 – With help from KRSD, The Boondocks border has now expanded to the entrance of the Estate River, the “Welcome to The Boondocks” has moved from the intersection of Memorial Boulevard and Emerald Boulevard to mouth of Estate River denoting the boundary.

    Next Up:

1 – Creating a new road starting from Emerald Road to the mouth of Estate River named Cactus Road. That will begin very soon to at least establish the border’s presence.

2 – Extend Pearl Road to Cactus Road to lay out the Border of The Boondocks.

3 – Extend Memorial Boulevard to Pearl Road so travelers can begin their trek back to Spawn City.

4 – Modify Emerald Road to accommodate Hillside Transit. If my calculations are correct, I will need at least 1100 rails (550 in one direction and 550 in the other direction) in order to complete the Boulevard Line.

That’s all for the update. See ya.

    Hello Minecrafters! :)

What an insane weekend this has been after the Rollback. Al lot of progress became undone, but thankfully the rollback gave me insight on how to make the Expansion Project much better.

    Hillside Transit:

Estate Island SGS Point was rolled back along with all the upgrades I did on tracks from Spawn City Center to Hummingbird Road SGS Points, but I am glad to announce that I got all back up to speed and in place, along with the additional adjustment of Memorial Boulevard itself to accommodate the elevated turns between Hummingbird Road and Sunrise Skyway SGS Points.

Of course there had to be a big catch up and now I am glad to announce that Ruby Road SGS point is now built and fully operational. Emerald Boulevard up to that point has been elevated to maintain a flat surface for the rails to run on.

Next Phase – on Hillside Transit is Mockingbird Road. There will be further adjustments made on Emerald Boulevard and new location for the SGS Point.

This will be followed by the adjusting the slopes on Emerald Boulevard leading up to Crescent Coast Road SGS Point which is the last to be upgraded and completed.

Finally there is running the tracks over Crescent Coast Bridge connecting the rails at the base of hill near Serenity Point Park thus completing the Boulevard Line.

    Roads:

With the borders expanded, this resulted in the creation, expansion and alteration of roads.

Ender Hills Road – A newly built road that acts as the official border for The Boondocks. It runs from The Crescent Coast to the mouth of Estate River near the newly named Ender Lake. It is connected to 6 roads which will take you to various areas of The Boondocks.

Memorial Boulevard – The Main road of The Boondocks has been expanded to Ender Hills Road and marking the new main entrance of The Boondocks.

Mockingbird Road – Has been expanded to Ender Hills Road, hugging more closely along The Crescent Coast to continue giving travelers beautiful views of The Boondocks and beyond.

Diamond Road – Has been expanded to Ender Hills Road.

Ruby Road – Has been expanded to Ender Hills Road.

Tower Road – Formerly called Estate Road, it runs from Hummingbird Road alongside the northern end of Estate River with a view of Arkham Tower all the way to the Smalltown USA border.

Estate Road – A NEW Estate Road built alongside the Estate River connecting Cactus Road to Ender Hills Road.

Cactus Road – A new road connecting Memorial Boulevard with Estate Road just past Emerald Boulevard, runs alongside a row of cactus’ next to Estate River. It features the new tourist site Cactus Pond (NO BUILDS ALLOWED) and Cactus Pond Bridge.

Pine Road – A new road that connects Cactus Road to Ender Hills Road

Oak Road – A new crossover road built connecting Memorial Boulevard with Estate Road.

Next Phase – The intersection of Pearl and Ruby will be elevated for uniformity.

    Builds:

There will be a new beach laid out off Mockingbird Road on The Crescent Coast.

There will be a new fishing and boating park off Estate Road on the Estate River.

2 old builds will receive Historic Site Status.

So that those are the plans for The Boondocks. Once all of these are settled I will update the Directory to reflect all changes. If you have any inquiries, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Thank you and have a good night.

    Greetings Minecrafters!

Here are another round of updates.

Two more abandoned builds have now received Historic Site status.

1- Hummingbird Estate. Built by an early settler in early days of Minecraft Awesome Server, it features a pond with a small farm patch and nice sized house. Off Hummingbird Road, NO BUILDS ALLOWED.

2 – Miner Estate. Another build by an early settler in the early days of Minecraft AWESOME Server, it features a Cobblestone house, triangular aligned trees and a private Mine with a cobblestone entrance. NO BUILDS ALLOWED. NO MINING ALLOWED.

Three new Tourist Sites are built.

    1. Cactus Pond – It s a small pond featuring Cactus Pond Bridge which carries Cactus Road to the Estate River. The road so themed because of the rows of cacti along the Estate River. On the iIntersection of Cactus Road and Memorial Boulevard. NO BUILDS ALOWED.

    2. Fisherman Park – A small park on the Estate River, will feature  a Fisherman Wharf Build for Fishing and a Dry Dock Build for Boat launching along the Estate River. NO BUILDS ALLOWED. On Estate Road.

    3. Crescent Beach – A beautiful beach laid out on The Crescent Coast, with views of Crescent Island, the coastline, and surrounding areas. Will feature a Fishing Wharf, and seats and tables. NO BUILDS ALLOWED. On Mockingbird Road.

    In other NEWS:

Hillside Transit expansion is now delayed due to running out of regular rails to continue. While I try to scrounge up some regular rails, I’ll be modifying Emerald Boulevard from Ruby Road to Mockingbird to accommodate the Mockingbird Road SGS Point, then continue final modifications from Hut Lane to Mockingbird Road.

Just 2 more SGS Points to go before crossing over the Crescent Coast Bridge for the last leg of Boulevard Line’s completion.

    Greetings Minecrafters! :)

A lot has happened since the last update and there are some big news.

    Hillside Transit:

I did a lot of extensive digging today and scrounged up enough Iron to create tracks. As of now the Boulevard Line has reached Crescent Coast Road. This means that Mockingbird Road SGS Point and Crescent Coast Road SGS Point are fully operational. As of now all SGS Points on the Boulevard Line are fully operational, HOWEVER, there is still one problem; the Boulevard Line has a gap between Crescent Coast Road and Serenity Point Park.  So the rail remains incomplete. There will be more extensive digging for regular rails so until then, anyone traveling to Hillside Park Transportation Center will have to disembark at Crescent Coast Road SGS point, and walk across the bridge to Serenity Point Park SGS Point to continue.

Also I have moved the Estate Island SGS point off of the island and at the corner of the intersection of Emerald Boulevard and Memorial Boulevard.  due to the expansion of The Boondocks. This resulted in renaming the SGS Point Estate Cove since it is closer to the Cove and not on the Island. Though if I do decide to continue working on the other lines on Hillside Transit I may rename this SGS Point again to Estate Center and build a Canopy there like the one at Spawn City Center.

    Tourist Sites:

I completed added docks and table chairs in Fishermen Park and adding chairs and table to Crescent Beach. Both Tourist Sites are fully operational to visit and enjoy fishing, boating an swimming.

    Next Phase:

Is going to be the final phase of Hillside Transit Boulevard Line with the “Bridging” of the gap by laying out the last tracks over the Crescent Coast bridge to Serenity Point Park.

Second – I have been updating Tourist Site Signs slowly but surely, to bring them up to standards.

Third – Ruby Road will be elevated, not only at the intersection of Pearl Road but also at the Intersection of Crescent Coast Road, which will mean altering the Crescent Coast Tunnel.

Fourth – When the Boulevard Line is completed 100% there will be a complete overhaul of the Site Directory that will consolidate all the information regarding The Boondocks, from its history to Hillside Transit, to the Nether Fortress. It will be nice and streamlined.

Well that is all for now with the updates.

    Until Next Time…

    See ya.

    Hello Minecrafter! :)

A lot has happened since I last updated, but now all the info is compiled into one reading as The Boondocks – Site Directory 2.0 is up and running. Get all the information you need on The Boondocks and it’s sites and features.

Been a long time since I updated. Three things have changed in The Boondocks.

1 – Cutters Road is extended to Crescent Coast Road now.

2 – Cutters lake now has a beach and new fences are placed up along Cutters Road

3 – The new;y made Valley Road is built from Crescent Coast Road to Ruby Road.

That’s pretty much all for now.

I would like to remind everyone that land is available in The Boondocks for anyone interested in making builds there. If you want to build here and are unsure of where to build without invading land just let me know and I’ll give you a tour of the area. :)

EDIT: One more thing… The new River Line for Hillside Transit will be the next route. Still haven’t decided whether to end it at Sandway Bridge or intersection of River Road/Memorial Boulevard

Hello Minecrafters! Here is another update for The Boondocks.

Serenity Point Lighthouse is now under construction. It can be visited at this time, but soon the walls will be finished and the top floor will be completed.

Looking down below from the Lighthouse I decided to cut 3/4 of Serenity Point Park down. This is create more open land for anybody interested in building in The Boondocks. Now there is a lucrative chance to have a water front from Crescent Coast Road overlooking the Crescent Coast Bridge and Serenity Point Cove.

With this contraction of land from Serenity Point Park, Park Road has no been extended to Crescent Coast Road and a more stable entrance into Serenity Point Park was made, with a safe passage to the Lighthouse on foot.

That’s all for the update for now.

Enjoy your visit in The Boondocks. :)
