ok, latest update:
The Marketplace is still up for grabs. If you think you’ve got the balls to take on the project, let me know. Send me your idea for it.
Our newest member Lorbnnlnsomething (sorry your name is really long) is building a cathedral, site still unknown
Jay is renovating the Wonder City tower, probably as a base for his shipping enterprise.
I’ll be building a zeppelin docked at Kshade’s old towerAugust 30, 2012 at 5:21 pm #50489No problem for not remembering my name, it is Klobrillenfleck.
I’ve done a little planning and would like to take the place right next to the town hall (if thats okay). The Cathedral is planned to be 43 x 64. The picture should make it a little bit easier to explain.
(In the building process it will get more “empyreanified”)

What exactly do you mean by “empyreanified”? I don’t enforce a strict style, I do encourage some variety, so long as its not too out of place. If you want to take some artistic license, that’s one thing, but don’t go changing the style just on my account.
August 30, 2012 at 7:07 pm #50508One thing that matters to me is consistency and I really like to think me into a style or philosophy, even if it determinates me. I like to work especially on collages, so I am experienced with this type of thinking in nearly daily basis and try to get a a symbiosis between something given and myself – without letting one side disappear.
I’ve done that Building a year ago and had never the chance to build it on an server, now revisiting it and update it with the new materials as well as the new height is a pleasure. Even more fun is to give the building a new identity and use the chance to rethink many of the design choices.
September 1, 2012 at 3:37 pm #50764Greetings Residents of the Empyrean.
Not long ago, I received permission from Soghog to run Hummingbird Road from The Boondocks into The Empyrean. Today I would like to announce that Last Night, I renamed that portion of Hummingbird Road to Community Road and extended that road into Stickyport. As of now, both The Empyrean and Stickyport are connected by one single road… Community Road in The Boondocks. All signs are posted accordingly and offers scenic sights as you walk your way to Stickyport if you want to.
Enjoy :)

Unless that’s a problem for you, I think we should use up that land. Otherwise I have no problems with your plans.
September 7, 2012 at 7:44 pm #51652Ah, cool! Seems to be the better place, no snow makes it so much easier.
September 10, 2012 at 2:52 pm #52289I’ve reconsidered the marketplace idea and would like to start on the new location. Btw. the tollstoy is awesome!
My creative mode test contains a nice plaza and 10 individual market stalls, later i will increase the number to 15-20.
And here is a bad sketch of the size:

March 10, 2013 at 10:02 am #73696Welcome @baggagelizard. Soghog is the boss, so use a @soghog in your post to get her attention. That or use brightly colored signal flags.

March 10, 2013 at 5:17 pm #73733@baggagelizard oh yeah, you can totally join the town. I’ll just copy and paste the most important rules for beginners here:
The community is divided into two zones; “Free Build” and “Approval Required”. The Approval Required area consists of the main square and the area surrounding it. The Free Build area is beyond the main square, across the river where the Inn can be found.
Anything built in the Free Build area does not require prior approval, though it is recommended not to build anything too out of place (i.e. sprite art, cobble boxes, dirt towers, etc).
Those seeking to build in the Approval Required area need to submit a basic plan to Soghog (or other community leaders) to ensure it follows the theme of the community and enough space can be found for it.If you’d like to build your own house right away, you can find yourself a good spot in the residential zone without my prior approval (just be courteous to your neighbors and not block views or anything). If you want a more ambitious project come see me about it and I’ll arrange a plot for you.
