Just wrapped up Bastion. Aside from it being a little short, and the fact that sometimes they stuck you with weapons you didn’t want, and the end bit where they suddenly added platforming, it was really good. I’d say a solid 80 or so.

I done completed that there Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Thoughts? A good game, very entertaining in parts.
It asks for the player to think – both about coming up with clever ways to get around a problem as well as asking the player questions about morality, humanity and the advancement of technology and all that fun stuff.

But there are some frustrating moments along the way. In particular the boss fights, which in my opinion were not needed and were juxtaposed (and not in a good way) to the otherwise strategic, smart, stealthy gameplay, which you could traverse without shooting a gun if you were skilled enough.

Overall? A solid title, definitely worth playing, but I can’t bring myself to call it a great game.

I just beat Lollipop Chainsaw last week, really fun game and very very funny. I would wait for a good price drop, I would wait til about $30-25. Next I’ll be playing Dawnguard DLC and ME3 Extended Cut DLC.

I finally got around to beating Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Arkham Asylum: GOTY edition. I loved Brotherhood, its makes me want to go back and play the previous two games against. I love how they improved the combat as well.

As for Arkham Asylum, I’m thinking maybe its just not my kind of game or maybe I need to give it a 2nd playthrough because I wasn’t really into it. Strangely I had more fun doing the all the Riddler stuff than playing the story and fighting. Even though I’m not big on Arkham Asylum, there’s a big part of me that still wants to pick up Arkham City.

I played through the Portal 2 Co-op last night.

… It’s bloody spectacular. It’s everything you could ask for from a Portal co-op mode. It funny, it’s smart, it’s well thought out, it all requires teamwork and communication and there’s none of the nitpicks that I had with the single player.
    It’s amazing.

Just finished Ghostbusters: The Video Game…randomly picked it up on a three for two offer at GameStop and played through it. It is cool to go bust some ghosts through a story written by the original team and get to fire the proton pack. Few jumpy moments in there but not nerve shredding terror….very much aimed at fans of the movies and the only thing that can satitate us in the absence of a third movie. Definately worth a playthrough.

Just finished Half Life, it was my first time, but I’ve played HL2 – EP2. I did it on Hard and all I have to say is FUCK the Nihilanth.

I just finished MGS2. I actually think its better than the first one. I liked the crazy story and Raiden as a character and person, he got screwed by everyone in his mission and I really liked the idea of never knowing what’s real and what’s not. The only problem was dead cell, I thought they were rather lame characters especially when you compare them to the former foxhound. Anyway I’m looking forward to play 3 and 4 soon, I’ve heard such great things about it.

For the first time, today I caught all 151 Pokemon in the GB Pokemon Red (By also playing the majority of Blue as well to get some it’s exclusives) and received the diploma. I’m more proud of that diploma than i am of my college one o_o

Now to get started on Gold or Silver.

My sister and I have been playing Rayman Origins for the last couple of weeks and finally reached the end today. It was a ton of fun, we laughed more than we have over a game in years. Even through the Land of the Livid Dead we were still laughing as we panicked and died multiple times.

Hm… I finished Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. My thoughts? It was hard here and there, whenever I started a new story I felt soooo underpowered but like all JRPGS are you have to grind and get leveled up before even thinking about going to a new world. The gameplay is fun. You have an unlimited amount of commands you can use and mix together. The story? Im not going to spoil but its the origin of the Kingdom Hearts series in the first place. If you want a game with no helpers, a balls to the wall RPG player and just a fan of the series I say go get Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. I promise you. You wont regret it. :)
