I actually just downloaded Realm of the Mad God the other night so I would be down for playing with you on that stream. As for Serious Sam, I’m actually planning on doing a big streaming event with a bunch of people and am still in the works with that one, so maybe hold back on that so we can get it more organized. The HOARD stream I did was a test run for that and it turned out well so that might come together sooner than I thought it would :D.
Ok i´ll hold serious sam back. maybe playing the campaign in co-op would be nice.
i´ll contact you whenever i plan on streaming RotmG.February 26, 2012 at 2:46 pm #16546I MIGHT start streaming on twitch, however I need a copy of the streaming software, Dyyno works great, but costs. I haven’t found anything free that works.
However, I can’t afford the licence until the first, and the sale on dyyno ends on the 29th. If they don’t extend the sale, then I’ll never be able to justify paying that much.
If I do get it up and running I’ll probably be streaming alot of emulated N64 games and some pc games.
I just hope that the sale continues, cause Dyyno is only 50 bucks now.

What I find most people using (myself included) is Xsplit. Its pretty versatile and right now its in beta so its free. Right now you can get a 2 year licence before it goes out of beta for $40 which is a pretty good deal from the normal price.

February 27, 2012 at 9:16 am #16635I have been streaming too lately. Currently half way through Alan Wake on PC. Twitch user jp874.
February 27, 2012 at 9:16 am #16636Twitches you better not left me out of this or the damage will be Grand
February 29, 2012 at 5:11 am #16970I think you now can take me out of the possible streamers and into the regulars seeing as i now stream my failures in RotmG daily.
February 29, 2012 at 6:33 am #16973My channel is a justin rather than a Twitch. Would such a thing affect this group?
If not, then I suppose I should let it be known that I’ve been running a gaming stream every Saturday around 9 or 10 am PST. I’ve been off since Christmas and I’m returning in early March. Not sure if that hurts anyone else’s schedule or not so I thought I’d put that out there.February 29, 2012 at 1:39 pm #17012Hey. I think it would make sense if at least once per week TheTurboClub youtube channel feature some highlights from one of the many Turbo Streamers.
And the video can feature links to that turbos particular streaming account.
That way TheTurboClub can promote other peoples twitch accounts :)February 29, 2012 at 2:17 pm #17025that is a brilliant idea and I like it
February 29, 2012 at 2:45 pm #17028Well, most turbo streams don’t really have specific “highlights”, so maybe splice together a sort of weekly “recap” about what kind of streams have gone down?

Putting together a highlight reel would be a little more work but whateves :PMarch 2, 2012 at 1:58 am #17285JRodd Toasterpig: whatever works best.
Putting together a highlight reel would be a little more work but whateves :PI’m going to try to get the streaming channel up by the end of today if I can. I can link the Turbo Club channel to the Turbo youtube account. I’m only letting me and static with admin access for now so it should slow down the flow of stuff that comes in so we don’t spam the channel, so this could be arranged pretty easily. I’ll make an editing team too most likely so we can have people catch those moments. Be sure you plug the Official TurboClub channel as soon as you can so we can start to get subscribers. My goal is to start using it directly starting this week.

I’m going to promote some youtube accounts for certain people like the podcast. I’m not going to have EVERYONE’s youtube account on there just because it may become an issue of relevance to the turbo club and the surrounding community. I’m going to update the roster on the forum tonight and tomorrow, I’m going to work on getting that directory up. I’m probably going to work on some banners for that as well.

Keep me informed.
This is exactly the kind of thing I want to see happen. I’m happy to see you are already working with StaticTorch because i was going to point out that he had similar aspirations for a turbo community streaming channel.
I want TheTurboClub youtube channel to work as closely with the streaming community as possible :) -
