If you could dream up the perfect video game what would it be? Would you build a game from scratch or take elements from other games to make it? Would you make a Mass Effect style game with characters and a storyline from the G.I. Joe universe, or would you want something like a Zorro video game with sword fighting built on the Arkham Asylum/City fighting enginge, etc?

April 27, 2012 at 4:22 pm #26939I never played Pokemon but a Pokemon MMO or a real Pokemon on consoles would be kewl. Also, having a bigger city up to 16 people visiting you in Animal Crossing, or like lounge room. Something like Playstation Home but…..fun. Oh yeah, since you mentioned Batman, after the Harley Queen dlc, Gotham City should be next. The rumors of RockSteady making a TMNT game gets me pumped….
A Berserk like story….frigging dark…..the manga is even worse…

Was considering saying ‘Half Life 3′ but thought it’d be too obvious. :p

-A very long (perhaps endless?), excellent text adventure with a dynamic world (i.e. action and inaction matter) and online grouping capability
-An epic length 8 or 16-bit adventure akin in style to Link’s Awakening or Link to the Past, perhaps with online co-op as well
-An epitomical horror game with intelligent random generation of story and environment designApril 28, 2012 at 6:29 am #27033Red Dead Redemption.
April 28, 2012 at 9:21 am #27048I’m still waiting for virtual reality rooms. Hahaha.
April 28, 2012 at 10:34 am #27057I’d like a game that does a little bit of everything. These days you’re starting to see genres blending together a lot. For example, Gettysburg: Armored Warfare is a hybrid RTS/3rd person shooter, Brickforce is a FPS/Sandbox game, etc etc. I’d like to see a game take that even further.
April 28, 2012 at 12:43 pm #27077April 28, 2012 at 1:03 pm #27086I’d make a video game with blackjack… and hookers… and rum! On second thought, forget the video game!
Seriously though, a more modern styled RPG with a lot of sidequests. My favorite part of a game is being immersed with the towns and the characters. Perhaps something similar to a Persona game with more Zelda-ish missions? I don’t know.
Either that or a more traditional Nintendo fighting game.
April 29, 2012 at 5:41 am #27230A Pokemon game mixed with Dragon Quest 9′s Multiplayer mode…you know what i mean guys…4 players running around the regions.
Or even better, your friends replace your Rivals in the game and every so often you come across them in the world and you can actually fight theApril 29, 2012 at 6:05 am #27233Better Than Life. (So long as Rimmer’s not involved, of course.)
April 29, 2012 at 6:52 pm #27370A 3D platformer/puzzle game which involves the ability to project yourself into a shadow with lights playing a huge part. That kind of simple yet complex kind of game.
Mostly, it was inspired by Intelligent Qube (PS1) for simple but yet effective concept.

April 29, 2012 at 6:58 pm #27374Also that “crossplayer” stuff mentioned on today’s show & trailer sounds pretty interesting. You could add new life to single player campaign by turning predictable AI enemies into unpredictable human enemies. Just hope it gets implemented better than games like Mindjack or Brink.
May 2, 2012 at 7:10 pm #27929A Kingdom Hearts 3! OMG why hasn’t Square Enix Made one yet. >:’C
