What's Your Distinct Look?

So I recently watched the “Team Fortress AWESOME! Romance!” episode for the first time, and one thing in particular that caught my attention was when Fraser brought up the topic of people having “distinct looks.” He explained that certain people always wear certain hats/outfits/etc. and that makes it easy to identify them. I’m looking to get my own distinct look, but I don’t want to end up accidentally having the same look as someone else. Although I have been playing on the server fairly often lately, I only remember of a few looks that other people use off the top of my head. Therefore, in order to avoid wasting money (normally I don’t see the point of spending money on hats and whatnot, but I don’t mind doing it for this purpose) I want to get an idea of what looks people have already claimed to some extent. So if you guys want, you can go ahead and post what items you almost always wear and what color they are (if you’ve painted them).

My “look” that I always wear now is the new hat with the rocket going through it. I also almost always wear my Genuine Merc’s Pride Scarf. Although, one of my main classes is pyro and I can be see with the Head Warmer hood on my pyro along with the scarf.

Normal look is a Black Genuine Killer Exclusive with summer shade, unless its my demoman which gets the white Dangeresque glasses.

the main classes i play are demoman and pyro. My demomon has a bright green afro and bright green dangeresque, too? and the pyro, I currently looking for a new look for it at the moment.

Dusk has already made a thread like this, but I can’t seem to find it anymore. It hasn’t been updated in awhile, so I can’t blame you for not seeing it. I mainly play the four S’s, that is Soldier, Scout, Sniper and sometimes Spy. I main Soldier, but dependent upon the battle situation/our current class loadout I’ll switch to another class. Here’s my Soldier and Sniper’s “distinctive look.”

Soldier:
Unusual Stout Shako (Value of Teamwork) -Peace sign
All Father (Value of Teamwork)
Fancy Dress Uniform (Value of Teamwork)

Sniper:
Desert Marauder (A Distinctive Lack of Hue)
Pyrovision Goggles
Villain’s Veil (After Eight) (Trained Killer)

I don’t see many people wearing the Sergeant’s Drill Hat for Soldier, so I usually rock that with the Summer Shades

I’m mainly famous for my Pyro loadout, but I also have some other loadouts that are pretty much a given for now:

Pyro:
Hat: Unusual Connoisseur’s Cap (Orbiting Fire)
Misc: Whiskered Gentleman (Cream Spirit)
Misc2: License to Maim/Balloonicorn (Depends on whether I want Pyrovision on or not, I really wish they would add another Misc Slot)
Action: Director’s Vision

Medic:
Hat: Unusual Private Eye (Oribiting Fire)
Misc: Nine-Pipe Problem (Distinct Lack of Hue)
Misc2: License to Maim/Balloonicorn
Action: Director’s Vision

Demoman:
Hat: Unusual Private Eye (Oribiting Fire)
Misc: Birdman of Aberdeen (Team Spirit)
Misc2: License to Maim/Balloonicorn

Soldier:
Hat: Hat with no name

Threads get lost so easily…The only classes I’ve made pretty are Pyro, Pyromancer’s Mask with purple paint, and Medic, a Surgeon’s Stahlhelm that dropped.

If you choose a hat someone else has, you can sell the hat or do a 1 on 1 trade.

Well for spy I always wear a familiar fez..also pyro vision goggles.

For the pyro I have The Infernal Orchestrina, Burning Bongos and unusual Head Warmer with sunbeams.
For the soldier I have unusual Honcho`s Headgear with burning flames and fancy dress uniform.
For the heavy I have The Outdoorsman, Apparatchik`s apparel and Pyrovision Goggles for now, but I might change this every now and then.

I wear the Cheater’s Lament on all classes, that’s probably the most characteristic item I wear.
Besides that I usually wear the Grizzled Veteran or a pair of Airbuds a friend gave me, and the Deus Specs or Summer Shades. Instead of the Deus Specs/Summer Shades, my Heavy has the Purity Fist and my spy wears the Noh Mercy.

Since Pyromania I’ve been wearing the Pyrovision Goggles with all classes, but that probably won’t last long….

I use Genuine Aperture Labs Hard Hat and summer shade on all classes(allmost), after pyromania the class i play most scout i use The fed-fightin’ Fedora

I have a balloonicorn, a ring ( <3!), and a brown bomber ( i wear a brown bomber in real life actually and i have pins on it, it's awesome) usually except my medic has a p. fetti hat, my fat scout has a dovakhin helmet (hopefully sometime it'll change to a One Man Army) and that's my main look really at the moment i can recall off the top of my hatted head. I hope to get an unusual brown bomber someday with a neat effect like confetti or somethin since i love the brown bomber so much.
