Zombi U is probably one of the best games I’ve played in years, but it’s not for everyone. As Ibun said, it can be really dull if you’re expecting it to be an action packed game.
It’s not that at all, it’s a very slow paced, intense crawl of a game. Very addictive once you get into it, difficult, a decent length, pretty good replay value and…[Read more]
Uhh, holy shit! Nintendo is holding a 90MINUTE Presentation for Pokemon X&Y the same day as this Nintendo Direct. I’m not as big into Pokemon, so I’ll leave it to someone else to make a thread if they want to.
Apparently, Nintendo has scheduled a good few game specific events, though the Pokemon one is the only known event so far. I’m thinking we…[Read more]
Nintendo has announced the date and time of their E3 Nintendo Direct.
They’ll be announcing:
New 3D mario
New Mario Kart
New Smash Bros
Plus more (I assume)
We’ll also be seeing:

1st Gameplay of Wind Waker Remake
New Gameplay for Yoshi Yarn…[Read more]
Yea everything going to Cloud Computing is a really bad move.
Their idea is that devs can use their servers to help with AI, physics etc, but what that means is that
A) I wont be able to play these games without an internet connection, or
B) I will be able to play these games offline, but their will be a noticeable downgrade
Both of these…[Read more]

I’d like to go to East, it’d be a few hundred Euro cheaper, but it’ll be on during my last couple weeks of College. At that time I’ll be stressing out over my Final Year Project, so East is a no go.
Plus, I’ve wanted to go to Seattle for years, don’t have much interest in Boston.

I forgot to mention it here aswell, but I’ve had to cancel my PAX trip. Tis a shame, since it was the one thing this summer that I was really lookin forward to. Alas, there’s always PAX Prime 2014
Super Metroid when I was about 4 years old.
I could never make it past fighting Ridley at the beginning because I was too scared, so my brother would beat him for me. Then I start playing again, I always got lost, confused and have no idea where to go, but I loved it as a kid.
I think that kinda informed how I feel about games today, particularly…[Read more]
Yea I agree, and it’s such a shame that Micdosoft’s success with this system is almost guaranteed.
The one thing I expect to happen though, is struggles in the long term similar to what Nintendo is facing, but prossibly worse due to MS not having the same brand loyalty.
What I mean is that Microsoft is going after the Casual Market, which is…[Read more]

You can’t take what 1 guy on Twitter says as an official statement. It wasn’t. He just decided that since EA had already announced that they weren’t making Wii U games, it was a good time to state just what he personally thinks of the Wii U.

I’m gonna go ahead and assume that Origin has nothing to do with it. This whole dispute over Origin between Nintendo and EA seems to be accepted as fact by many, despite there being no evidence to support it and that the rumour originated from the IGN Forums.
Here’s what I think happened:
EA announces “Unprecedented Partnership” with Nintendo,…[Read more]
Thought this was a pretty interesting analysis of why the Wii U is failing in the market, courtesy of the beautiful man child Jonathan Holmes.
And I’ll respond to your post later euske. For now I’ll just say I kinda agree and disagree with what you’re saying.
oidisco replied to the topic Why Nintendo Going 3rd Party is Counterproductive? (If You Are the Competition) in the forum Video Gaming! 1 week ago
Actually Nintendo going 3rd Party wouldn’t really be great for consumers either. We need Nintendo to innovate and provide different approaches with their consoles (though maybe not for EVERY console generation), because nobody else is gonna do it.
Sure sometimes it results in some duds (virtual boy and possibly Wii U)and sometimes it alienates…[Read more]

It’s a 3 game deal. Basically Nintendo is getting Sonic Lost Worlds, Mario and Sonic Winter Olympics, and then another, currently unknown game.
So uh yea, things aint lookin too good. EA has 0 games in development for Wii U
The last time something like this happened, we got the Dreamcast, which then resulted in Sega going 3rd Party.
At this point, it’s safe to say that the Wii U has been, and will be, Nintedndo’s worst performing console. However, despite what this and what Euske said, I…[Read more]
oidisco replied to the topic Europe…why does Nintendo favour you so much more than NA? in the forum Video Gaming! 1 week, 1 day ago
We didn’t get Excitebots. Your VC games aren’t in 50hz. You didn’t have to put up with years and years of late releases/no releases. Consoles are much more expensive here too.
Some rare early releases and slightly (very slightly) better DLC aint a big deal
They’re getting rid of Online Passes because they’re waiting for Sony and Microsoft to implement Always Online restriction for their respective consoles. This also explains why they aren’t supporting Wii U.
Totally calling it (not really)
